Location & directions Monte Piz

Our hotel is situated in the heart of the Europe’s largest Alpine pasture “Alpe di Suisi/Seiser Alm”, set amid breathtaking mountain scenery of the Dolomites. It is easily accessible by all means of transport, ranging from car through rail, bus or plane (followed by further bus transfer).

Since our Hotel Monte Piz is located amid the UNESCO World Heritage site and is therefore an area of low-traffic flow, our guests traveling by car must purchase a transit permit at the Information Office of San Valentino (traffic island, Via Alpe di Siusi Street). If the office is closed, you will be granted a valid permit at our Hotel.

Coming from the north:
Take the A22 Klausen exit – follow the state road towards Bolzano – turn left at Waidbruck towards Kastelruth – Seiser Alm
(Distance from A22 Klausen exit to Seiser Alm approx. 24 km)

Coming from the south:
Take the A22 Bolzano Nord exit – continue on the state road towards Brenner – at Blumau enter the tunnel towards the Schlern area
(Distance from A22 Bolzano Nord exit to Seiser Alm approx. 29 km)

Attention:
Since our Hotel Monte Piz is located in the Dolomites UNESCO World Natural Heritage site and the area is traffic-restricted, guests must obtain a permit for their car at the information office in St. Valentin (traffic island on the Seiser Alm road). If the office is closed, simply continue and get the permit at the hotel.
